Dear loved ones,
Thankyou to those who have already sent messages of love, prayer and gifts to our dear brothers and sisters in Nepal. Please continue to lift them up in your prayers.
Pray for :
That those who have lost everything that their physical and emotional needs will be met with care and gentleness.
That those who work in the flood rescues, clean up and delivering of aid will themselves recover from the trauma of what they have seen and experienced.
That those whose lives must carry on in Nepal working, going to school and caring for families will be able to sustain themselves and continue to build Nepal again.
What we are doing today:
Today one of our partners, Pastor Ashok Adikhari on invitation from the Fellowship of Churches in Dhading will be travelling to the district with food relief for some 200 people sheltering in church buildings. Pastor Ashok will also be able to assess what needs there are from the local situation and where help would be most needed from our side.
We are also working with Shalom Fellowship of churches in Kathmandu to prepare packages of emergency supplies, which may include, tarpaulins, ropes, solar lights, food and clothing. The specifics are still being settled.
